Nokia N8 is one of the most popular Smartphone in India

Pakar Iklan Nokia N8 is one of the most popular Smartphone in India : Mobile phone giant Nokia can now breathe a bit easy. It seems that the company has finally been able to surmount it delivery problems with its new N8 Smartphone. As per a report by a Finnish equity research company Inderes, Nokia has shipped around 4 million N8s since the device’s October launch.

Earlier, Inderes had predicted that the N8 is unlikely to taste much success as the Symbian 3 OS run phone has a slow browser and poor camera. But it now looks like things are in favour of Nokia. However, the company has chosen to be numb about N8 delivery volumes.

Inderes estimation is based on media attention to the phone and additional recruitment at Nokia’s plant in Salo. In addition to this, analysts also examined search volumes on internet search engines used by consumers – they discovered that ‘N8’ was a popular keyword. Search trends reveal that the N8 is especially popular in India and large profits can be expected in the coming months here. Apart from India, the N8 is also very much in demand in Finland, Malaysia and the United Arab Emirates.

Of course, Nokia has high expectations for its flagship N8 –positive consumer response can raise Nokia’s hopes of challenging Apple’s iPhone. That said, Inderes finds that India, where the iPhone has enjoyed little success, holds promise for the N8.
